Shoes are huge here. Here’s the deal: girls are totally into shoes big time. They spend hours buying shoes. They obsess over shoes like guys obsess over sports statistics.
You have to understand this. So, when girls look at a guy for the first time, one of the first things that they look at is the guy’s shoes.
The shoes you wear say something about you and your life-style. Understand that fashion as a form of “social code.” It tells people, especially women, if you are socially intelligent. Now, remember, if you are socially intelligent, you are more prone to be successful with making alliances with other people: and that means access to resources that will help you survive—and in her case, if she aligns herself to you, her too. I know that sounds crazy, but it’s true.
You know, the other day I was watching “Man vs. Wild” and it’s about a guy who is thrown into the wild with no tools or anything and he has to try to survive. It’s a crazy reality show but it’s so cool. But if you watch it, you will be struck how hard our ancestors had it back in the day.
Well, I know we have grocery stores and such, but this type of survival thinking is still ingrained in us.
If you are having trouble wrapping your mind around this then just replace survival to status.
Why are we so obsessed with celebrity gossip? Well, it’s because these people have status, and status means access to resources. And, when I mean resources, I mean in today’s term: money and power.
Anyway, back to shoes!
Think about this: if you’re going to buy cool clothes, it’s going to cost money. I’ve spent $140 dollar on one shirt before (Don’t worry, you don’t have to if you go to the outlet stores) and $300 for a pair of jeans. When all is said and done, that’s a lot of “dough” for fashion right? So the top and pants looks cool. Well I have killer shoes that I got on sale for $300. Now, that’s a killer outfit. Well, if I put on cheap shoes but the outfit was “money” I would be screwed because the shoes are one of the first things that a women will focus on.
So, this is where guys totally mess up: they have a cool outfit, but because they spent a lot of money on the shirt and jeans, they don’t want to spend a lot on shoes.
So, they wear some cheap pair and it totally messes up the outfit. Well, guess who notices this right away? The girls you are trying to game. That’s why it’s so easy to make a judgment about a guy though his shoes. It says this–again: “you are socially retarded.” And, that means you have less of a chance for “survival” in the big bad world because you have no social intelligence and you can’t make social relations with other people.
They will make this assessment in less than a second.
So, for you, you have to take advantage of this by getting some cool shoes. The shoes I really like are a brand called Mark Nason and New Rocks. But, again, you have to find cool ones that fit your life-style. Just don’t wear Dockers, a polo shirt and penny-loafers and think as a mature man, you are going to take home a girl 21 years old from a popular club.
